Mickey Goldmill’s Mighty Mug, Vintage Rocky II Screen Accurate Prop-Twin

The original tan colored mug is what we call a “Prop-Twin”, meaning that it is identical to a movie prop, but is not the actual screen-used item.

This vintage, oversized mug is identical to the one Mickey Goldmill uses in a scene from Rocky II.

In the scene, Mickey – eating a big mug of soup and messy crackers, throws his hot soup at his television screen, enraged at seeing Apollo Creed taunting Rocky into a rematch. “Ugly bum!”, Mick says as he spills his mug, spurring him to go over to Rocky and Adrian’s house to get Rocky back into training.

The mighty mug measures over 4″ wide and 3″ inches tall; weighs 1 pound.
