Rocky’s Alarm Clock, Screen-Accurate Vintage Display Piece
TIME FOR A GLASS OF EGGS!
This vintage alarm clock is identical to the one used by Sylvester Stallone in the original ROCKY (1976).
Rocky sets his alarm for a wakeup at 4:02am on a cold Philadelphia morning; next step? Crack some eggs in a glass and drink ’em to get your protein. Then it’s on with the Converse sneakers and sweatsuit, and out the door on the icy streets of Philly for a run up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This clock is what kickstarts Rocky’s morning workout.
The clock can be seen later in the film (set at 2:27am) in the legendary scene in which Rocky tells Adrian that he wants to prove that he’s not just another bum from the neighborhood.
Produced in the 1950’s, this heavy metal alarm clock is set at 4:02am, just like Rocky’s workout clock. The alarm bell sounds exactly the same as it does in the movie. The clock is not in working order but is a fantastic display piece and a reminder to hit the streets for a jog.
Please note that two sizes are available, and each clock is heavy (ranging from 1-2 lbs) which indicates that it will have to ship via USPS Priority Mail.
